Anika Noi Rose, an American singer-actress is best known for her role as Tiana in The Princess and the Frog. Her most well-known role is Tiana The Princess as well as the Frog's African-American Princess. She was named a Disney Legend in 2011. She also played Beneatha Younger, who played The Broadway production of A Raisin in the Sun (2014) where she was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play.
